National Women in Roofing (NWiR) is a volunteer-based organization that supports and advances the careers of women roofing professionals. NWiR provides networking, mentoring, education and industry recruitment opportunities from the rooftop to the boardroom, for the young professional at the start of her career to the seasoned manager in the executive suite. Through their commitment to connect and empower women in roofing, they contribute to the overall betterment and professionalism of the roofing industry.

With over 2,000 members, STAFDA represents companies and leaders in the construction and industrial supply chain. Since 1976, STADFA has connected industry professionals, offered education through workshops, webinars and training, and fostered meaningful industry relationships and connections.

The National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA) is a not-for-profit association comprised of independent sales representatives and manufacturers in the electrical industry. The association’s charter is to develop and strengthen each company’s sales, marketing and management skills and promote the benefits of doing business with an independent sales representative. The association also offers programs designed to help members conduct their business in an ethical, efficient and productive manner.

Established in 1886, NRCA is one of the nation’s oldest trade associations and the voice of roofing professionals worldwide. NRCA’s nearly 4,000 member companies represent all segments of the industry, including contractors, manufacturers, distributors, consultants and other employers in all 50 states and internationally. NRCA members are typically small, privately held companies with the average member employing 45 people and attaining sales of $4.5 million per year. The U.S. roofing industry is an essential $100 billion sector with nearly 1 million employees that provides critical materials and services to ensure home and business safety.

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) originated as Women in Construction of Fort Worth, Texas. Sixteen women working in the construction industry founded it in 1953. Knowing that women represented only a small fraction of the construction industry, the founders organized NAWIC to create a support network for women working in a male-dominated field. Women in Construction of Fort Worth was so successful that it gained its national charter in 1955 and officially became the National Association of Women in Construction. Today, NAWIC is still based in Fort Worth and has over 115 chapters throughout the United States. NAWIC continues the vision of its founding members by advocating for the value and impact of women builders, professionals and tradeswomen in all aspects of the construction industry.

The Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association was founded in 1922 to bring together contractors as well as businesses with related interests. FRSA's purpose is to foster and encourage a high standard of business ethics among its members and to inform the general public of the importance of doing business with Florida certified licensed and insured roofing professionals. FRSA encourages quality through research, education and recognition of competence. The Association provides potential economies through the cooperative purchasing of insurance, financial services and other products and services designated by the Board of Directors. FRSA represents the interests and acts as the voice of its membership before government and regulatory bodies of all kinds and works to improve the overall industry in keeping with the general purposes of the Association.
